8/18/2023 0 Comments Asus helios build![]() ![]() Replace the one in the case with this and then plug it into the motherboard. There are good and cheap ones for around $20. To get control over those fans, buy a different fan hub. The fan hub doesn't connect to your motherboard. Using a 4 way ARGB splitter for the 3 front fans and the front i/o ARGB header to the MB. Daisy chained the 3 front fans together and plugged into a chassis fan on the MB. Plugging the back exhaust fan into the CPU fan out on the MB and the fans ARGB into the LC 4 way ARGB splitter. I ended up replacing the 4 chassis fans all together. All my fans sped up and sped down together and I could not change this in aura sync. The 4 case fans were being controlled by the ARGB header leaving the front i/o and plugged directly into a separate ARGB pin on the MB. The ARGB headers from the LC fans were in a 4 way ARGB splitter and plugged directly into the MB as well (separate from the front i/o panel ARGB header). My CPU LC fans power wires were daisy chained and plugged into the CPU fan pins on the MB. The issue I had with this case is my motherboard won’t see the 4 case fans as chassis fans. I have a Asus Rog Strix X570-E motherboard and A Asus Strix 360mm RGB Liquid CPU Cooler. This is also how you control the leds in the front glass panel after changing the led control button to MB mode. The front i/o has a 3 pin ARGB female header that can be plugged into the motherboard and controlled with aura sync. The fans can also be controlled by the motherboard if your motherboard supports ARGB. Now the fans can be controlled by the fan button on the front i/o. The front i/o panel and the case fan hub have to be connected to the PSU via sata power connectors. The four case fans are wired to a fan hub located on the back at the top left side near the front i/o panel. I just build an all Asus Rog PC with this case.
